Welcome to the David G. Sayles Insurance Services interactive site on the world wide web. We came to the Web in 1996 with the intent to provide a useful resource for our clients and the general public. If you would like to e-mail us, we would be pleased to hear your thoughts. While we are limited by state regulations in what we can provide to our clients through this site, we are currently able to service certain insurance changes and can respond to specific questions. There are links to our companies with web pages. For the general public we have developed a dictionary of insurance terms and a list of links to other insurance resources. Presently, the marine insurance section of the site is the most fully developed, and if you have interest in domestic or international trade, you may find this information helpful. For other areas of insurance coverage, we have provided individual pages, which include greater discussion of the coverages, and some other notes on the coverages. These can be accessed directly through the site map.

David G. Sayles Insurance Services has been providing insurance to the general public since 1981. We consider ourselves a local insurance agent and will always enjoy the face to face conversations we have with many clients. Today's insurance marketplace requires agents to give not only a competitive price but quality insurance knowledge--to add value in your risk management efforts. We enjoy complex issues and problems and will work hard to solve them. Service is what we offer.

As a full service independent insurance agent we offer a broad range of insurance related products and services. We can service your business needs if you are next door or if you have offices throughout the world. Because we act as agents and brokers we have access to a wide range of property and casualty products and companies that can cover most of your needs.

The International School of Commerce

The school offers various classes for both pre-licensing and Continuing Education Credits. The school holds classes at our physical address below and also will come to your site if need be. The schedule of courses will be maintained at International School of Commerce.

Our mission statement is quite simple: To provide a high level of insurance and related products, service and quality insurance companies to our customers. Because we act as agents and brokers we only make money when the client is satisfied.

Our plan is to utilize this communication medium to add, delete or in general adapt your insurance program to meet your needs. Our personal and commercial lines clients, and persons and businesses interested in utilizing our services, are invited to contact us.

As a service to the population at large we offer a Dictionary of Insurance Terms, which we believe is the most complete listing you will find on the Web. This is extensively hyperlinked, and forms a part of our effort to help you understand the risks facing you and your business, and the steps you can take to minimize these risks. A fuller description of some insurance terms is included also in the descriptions of coverages that we typically offer. These can be accessed through the site map, or are hyperlinked within the dictionary. Of interest to our clients involved in shipping goods (either as exporters or importers) are the 1990 Incoterms, which describe responsibilities, ownership of goods and risk under the various shipping terms.
